Our Steel Tooth bits feature center circulation or 3 to 4 jet ports, with the 4th being an optional center jet. We house all jet sizes to meet your TFA (Total Flow Area) requirements.

Steel tooth bits are commonly used for softer formations where less weight, or pressure, is needed to fracture. They are also ideal for sands, clays and other environments where a paddle action rather than fracturing is most efficient to clear the cuttings away, but harder layers or hydraulic requirements prevent the use of a drag bit.
