The Pac-Man style breaker is designed for applications where the make-up and break-out of the tool happens outside the table, usually on rigs utilizing an Iron Roughneck or similar hydraulic tong assembly. This breaker slips into the wrench flats of the tool and offers a larger surface area greater than the surrounding OD for the jaws to grab and bite into. There are several styles that can be manufactured depending on your rigs specific needs and/or tool interface.
