JSA
No matter where in your string a choke point occurs and flow gets bottlenecked the reduction in ROP due to the increase in back pressure and the potential damage due to debris can cause significant damage to your bit, string and overall bottom line. When building your BHA the evacuation potential, measured by your
JSA is crucial. Tercel bits takes into account your specific needs and we can design a bit tailored for your application. Whether in Steel or Matrix body we can push the envelope in nozzle count and total bit JSA to offer the most efficient evacuation control as possible.
Body
All Hole Opener bodies start with quality raw materials. Whether you need something that is inherently harder like a p110 or 4145m or standard 4140 we can customize your tool for your needs. This applies to ID - OD specs as well. Where a reverse system may require a
Body to have a 5” or 6” ID to handle the flow, we can design a tool calculating wall thickness, stress requirements and overall job performance to meet your application specific needs.
Connections
Traditionally
Connections will be API Regular, however if you need a special Full Hole Modified of Internal Flush connection we can cut to order. Likewise, if you prefer not to run a crossover back to your string we can make any hole opener meet your specific BHA makeups to allow for as few connections as possible.

Roller Cone Hole Opener (RCHO)
Our Hole Openers come in either Direct or Reverse circulation and either with a Bull Nose or Piloted.
Our bull noses have a single nozzle, with either a fixed port or interchangeable jet housing for TFA modification.
The number of cutters featured on our various sized hole openers is a calculated mathematical formula using: diameter of hole opener, cutter spacing, and cutter contact to formation for creating the smoothest running, longest lasting, most efficient, money well spent ROP tool on the market.
Our piloted hole openers come equipped with each of our (BNHO) features less the Bull Nose. This feature enables you, while hole opening, to drill up fill that may have settled at the bottom of the hole, or deepen the piloted section, while hole opening at the same time, without Pulling Out Of Hole to make a costly second pilot run; hence, saving you time and money in these situations.
